Formed in 2019, CAP-JAMS is Capcom's official house band, following in the footsteps of former house band Alph Lyla. Since their formation, the band has performed at Rockman Live 2020 and has also released their first album One in April 2021. They've also done numerous arrangements of character theme songs for Street Fighter V.
CAP-JAMS features a fluctuating membership made up of members of Capcom's own sound production team, adapted for the needs of each event and project. The distinctive versatility of game music allows them to incorporate many genres into their musical style.
Akuma's Theme: HYPER STREET FIGHTER II CAP-JAMS ver.
We arranged his track based on the concept of making Akuma emo! What kind of Akuma pops up when you hear this arrangement? Take a listen while imagining a different side of him!
Demitri Stage: Night Warriors CAP-JAMS ver.
While keeping the impressive melody of the original song, we arranged it with an underground image that sounds like a vampire's night. I hope you enjoy CAP-JAMS' speedy and edgy sound!
Cammy's Theme: HYPER STREET FIGHTER II CAP-JAMS ver.
While incorporating the characteristic phrases of the original song throughout, we aimed to create a stylish and bold arrangement that is uniquely Cammy. We hope you enjoy the fresh, yet somehow nostalgic and thrilling development of this song!
MEGALOPOLIS: CYBERBOTS CAP-JAMS ver.
Since the original was already completed as a thrash metal song, we had a hard time giving it a different flavor while maintaining the metal sound (lol)! I hope you can feel the 90's metal feel with the slow tempo part during the middle of the song!
Pyron Stage: DARKSTALKERS CAP-JAMS ver.
While leveraging most of the elements of the original song, we tried to carefully create a sense of intimidation and presence of Pyron, the "final boss." We hope you pay attention to CAP-JAMS' heavy groove!
Green Scream: VAMPIRE SAVIOR CAP-JAMS ver.
We aimed to create a slightly mature, cool and tight song while respecting the stylish chords and rich melody of the original. We hope you enjoy this slightly different vibe!
OPENING DEMO: HYPER STREET FIGHTER II CAP-JAMS ver.
The arrangement was made with care so as not to spoil the fast-paced feel of the original song. Although it is a short song, we made the most of the phrases that were originally included, so we hope you will take the time to listen and find them.
Those who Show the Way: RED EARTH CAP-JAMS ver.
The melody line of the song was very clear, so I wanted to create an arrangement that would convey the melody part well. Although the arrangement has changed a lot, we hope you can feel the melody of the original song!

It is an honor and lifetime goal to work with Capcom. All the music that I make reflects the 3rd strike OST kind of feel. May Capcom live forever. Thanks for making my favorite games ever.

I remember playing Street Fighter on the original console in the early 90s with my older brother. Being able to sample these iconic sounds is a dream come true!! My goal was to remind listeners of the experience of first playing Street Fighter, while giving the sounds a modern and fresh update. I used a mix of the stage soundtracks, character voices and sound effects. To me the original game music is perfect, but I hope listeners will enjoy hearing it with a slightly different feel.

Personally, I don't play games very often, but I do like the sound effects and sometimes include them in my music. There were a lot of great sound effects to play with and I had a lot of fun composing this song♪

There were just so many interesting songs. I struggled to choose which ones to sample and loop and created a lot of beats. I ended up with three tracks and ultimately chose this particular beat.
