Resident Evil meets
classic movie poster
Creator Comment: Retro Style + Resident Evil Village
I approached the task with the question
"What if Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village was on a movie poster?"
Of course she'd be the main focus of the poster, but in what context?

In the initial sketch, her eyes were closed,
but ultimately her gaze was too intense to leave out of the final piece.

I wanted people to feel like they had just seen a movie
with Lady Dimitrescu in the main role.
I'm sure her gaze will pierce the hearts of all those caught in it!
Designer: Sakutamo
When I first saw the rough sketch, I thought,
"Oh, they're going for a classic movie-poster look!"
Even though the theme was Resident Evil in a retro style,
I wasn't expecting something like that.
It really blew me away.
The efforts of the designer and the Resident Evil development team really made for a high-quality piece of work.
It really shows off the artistic and technical prowess of CAPCOM creators;
they should all feel really proud.
